Goa, May 22 -- Two staff members of the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., were shot dead on Wednesday night outside the Capital Jewish Museum. The victims, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim-a young couple reportedly on the verge of getting engaged-were leaving an event hosted by the American Jewish Committee when the attack occurred near 3rd and F Streets NW. The tragedy has deeply shaken both the diplomatic and Jewish communities.
The alleged shooter, 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, was seen loitering outside the museum before approaching a group of four people and opening fire.
