Goa, Jan. 13 -- Two persons sustained injuries in a violent assault involving a koita (sickle) at Parra, reportedly stemming from a dispute linked to a love triangle, police said. The incident occurred when four individuals allegedly attacked one person, leaving him seriously injured.
Another individual who attempted to intervene in the assault was also injured during the attack. Following the incident, one of the injured victims was shifted to the Goa Medical College (GMC) for further treatment, while the other is currently undergoing treatment at the Mapusa District Hospital.
