Goa, Dec. 18 -- A car allegedly driven by a drunken man hit a motorcycle on the Mapusa-Siolim road, leaving two people injured. The accident occurred when the car reportedly moved onto the wrong side of the road and collided with the two-wheeler travelling towards Siolim. The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries, while the pillion rider suffered minor injuries and was treated at a hospital. Locals rushed to assist the injured and informed the police. Witnesses alleged that the driver appeared heavily intoxicated and behaved aggressively at the scene. He allegedly abused a journalist present at the spot before fleeing. Police are searching for the accused and probing the incident.
