Goa, April 11 -- In a rare and dramatic turn of events, two massive cobras, each measuring nearly 4 meters in length, were rescued from separate locations in Sanguem on the same day, sparking concern and fascination among local residents.

The first cobra was found coiled inside a pipe in Molcornem, alarming the neighborhood. Flazer da Costa, a local panch member, quickly contacted experienced snake rescuer and Animal Care Foundation (ACF) member Miguel Fernandes from Quepem. With assistance from the Forest Department and local youth, the cobra was safely extracted and secured.
