India, Feb. 12 -- Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Goa, in association with the Directorate of Official Language and the Goa State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), will organise a two-day Bal Sahitya Parishad on February 16 and 17 at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, to promote and explore the world of children's literature.

The parishad will commence on February 16 with an inaugural session from 10 am to 12 noon, featuring eminent Hindi writer Priyamvad. This will be followed by the first thematic session titled "Contemporary Issues in Children's Literature" from 12 noon to 1.30 pm, with Sushil Shukla and Sonika Kaushik as speakers.
