Goa, April 9 -- The new hospital building in Tuem is set to open as a fully operational 100-bed facility, contrary to recent confusion sparked by the display of a community health center plaque on the premises. The local Action Committee for the Bambolim-GMC Hospital Link has strongly opposed the notion of using the new hospital building as a community health center, insisting it must function as a hospital as initially planned.

Currently, the plaque of the old community health center is visible on the facade of the new building, leading to widespread confusion among local citizens. The issue was raised with the local MLA, who clarified that misinformation was being circulated about the hospital's intended function.
