Goa, Jan. 9 -- The Tuem Hospital Kruti Samiti has issued a strong ultimatum to the state government, demanding the immediate commencement of services at Tuem Hospital. The warning came after members of the committee met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to press their long-pending demand.
Addressing the media after the meeting, the Kruti Samiti said that if the hospital is not made functional at the earliest, they will launch a hunger strike agitation from January 11 to January 15 outside the Tuem Hospital premises.
The group further warned that if their demands continue to be ignored even after the hunger strike, they will intensify the agitation by holding a mashal yatra (torch march) to draw public attention to the issue.
