Goa, Aug. 5 -- Former US President Donald Trump has once again targeted India over its continued purchase of Russian oil, this time threatening a substantial hike in tariffs on Indian goods imported into the United States.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump accused India of not only buying "massive amounts of Russian oil" but also reselling much of it on the open market at a profit. "Because of this, I will be substantially raising the Tariff paid by India to the USA," he said, without elaborating on the exact increase he plans to impose.
