Goa, Oct. 13 -- US President Donald Trump on Sunday once again claimed credit for resolving several global conflicts, including the long-standing dispute between India and Pakistan. Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to the Middle East, Trump said he has "solved" eight wars, including the one between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He boasted that his use of tariffs and trade threats ended the India-Pakistan tensions "within a day."
New Delhi, however, has firmly denied any US involvement in Operation Sindoor or the subsequent ceasefire. India maintains the truce was achieved through direct talks between the militaries of both nations.
