Washington, April 14 -- U.S. President Donald Trump has been declared in "excellent cognitive and physical health" following his first annual physical of his second presidential term, according to a detailed medical memo released Sunday by the White House.

The nearly five-hour examination took place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and was conducted by Captain Sean Barbabella, a U.S. Navy emergency physician with service experience in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The assessment confirmed that the 78-year-old president, who survived an assassination attempt in July that left scarring on his right ear, continues to exhibit robust cardiac, neurological, pulmonary, and general physical function.
