Goa, April 3 -- In a bold move aimed at reshaping U.S. trade dynamics, President Donald Trump declared April 2, 2025, as the 'Liberation Day' for the American economy, marking the day when his administration imposed a sweeping 10% universal tariff on almost all imported goods. Alongside this, additional high tariffs were announced on around 60 countries in retaliation for their own high duties on U.S. products.
