Goa, May 22 -- A tree fell on the main road in Sulcorna, Sanguem earlier today, causing a temporary traffic blockade and inconvenience to commuters in the area.
The incident disrupted vehicle movement for some time, but the situation was quickly brought under control thanks to the prompt response from the Curchorem Fire Station team, who arrived on the scene and efficiently cleared the fallen tree.
Traffic flow was restored shortly after, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the tree fall is believed to be linked to recent heavy rains, which have weakened tree roots in several parts of the region.
