Goa, Jan. 6 -- Property damage worth about Rs.1 lakh was reported after a tree collapsed at Tariwada, Undir, near Datta Mandir. The incident did not result in any injuries. Firefighters from Ponda immediately responded and carried out clearance work to remove the fallen tree. The operation was led by firefighter Vasudev Parab, supported by his team, who ensured the site was secured and debris cleared. Locals said the prompt response prevented additional damage and potential risk to nearby houses and pedestrians. Normalcy was restored after the completion of the operation.
