Goa, July 24 -- Porvorim - Two large tree branches came crashing down within the Goa Legislative Assembly premises on Wednesday, triggering a brief scare among staff and visitors. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The branches fell in an area typically used for parking by Secretariat and Assembly staff. While no vehicles were reportedly damaged, the incident has raised concerns about the maintenance of trees and overall safety on the premises, especially during the ongoing monsoon season.
Authorities quickly cleared the debris and are expected to assess the condition of other trees in the vicinity to prevent similar occurrences.
