Goa, Sept. 17 -- The Akhil Bhartiya Transport Association has announced an indefinite strike starting September 21, 2025, to protest the continued ban on heavy commercial vehicle movement along NH-748 at Anmod, Goa.
The association said that since the landslide on July 5, only six-wheeler vehicles have been allowed on the route, severely affecting heavy vehicle operators and transport businesses.
Blaming the crisis on the government's failure in infrastructure maintenance and inspection, the association warned that if the order is not reviewed within two days, transporters will begin their strike at the Mollem check post.
