Goa, Dec. 16 -- Petitioner Trajano D'Mello has said he will challenge an order passed by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA), which granted relief to former Goa Chief Secretary Puneet Kumar Goel in connection with his property at Aldona.

According to D'Mello, the GCZMA ruled that the site in question does not fall within its jurisdiction, as it has no tidal influence. The authority further observed that the structure on the property existed prior to the notification of the Mangrove Zone and Khazan Buffer in the Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) 2011.
