Goa, Nov. 13 -- Advocate Santosh Malvikar voiced strong concern over repeated incidents of police harassment in Goa, stating that someone must speak up against such behaviour. He emphasised that tourists are tired of constant mistreatment by certain police officials and demanded strict action against the three officers involved. Malvikar pointed out that Goa once attracted numerous foreign tourists, but many have now stopped visiting due to these issues. He added that most visitors today are domestic travellers, and subjecting them to unnecessary trouble is unacceptable. Calling for accountability, Malvikar urged the authorities to take immediate steps to restore Goa's image as a safe and welcoming destination for all tourists.
