Goa, Oct. 15 -- A road accident at Marna-Siolim on Tuesday evening (October 15, 2025) left a woman injured after a rented Thar, reportedly driven by tourists, rammed into her Activa scooter. The woman, who was riding with her daughter, sustained leg injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses claimed the tourists appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Locals reported seeing them throw empty beer bottles out of their vehicle shortly before the collision. The reckless driving sparked outrage in the locality, as residents raised concerns over the growing menace of drunk driving by tourists in Goa.
