Goa, Dec. 16 -- A one-and-a-half year-old toddler died after ac cidentally drowning in a pond near his house at Talebandh Benaulim on Monday morning, police said. According to Colva police, the in cident occurred around 11.45 am. The child's parents, both teachers, were at work at the time, while his four-year-old twin brothers had already left for school. Police said the toddler had been sleeping at home and lat er walked out through the back door. A pond located behind the house, about one metre deep, is believed to have caused the child to slip and fall into it. Family members, including the child's uncle, were pres ent in the house.
