India, Jan. 27 -- Just days after a major robbery was reported in a large gated residential society at Porvorim, burglars struck once again, this time targeting a villa at Socorro Zoswaddo, intensifying security concerns among residents.

Sources said the house was locked at the time of the incident as the owners were away. The burglars reportedly decamped with valuables and also took away the CCTV recording unit, apparently in an attempt to erase evidence of the crime. The exact details of the stolen items are yet to be disclosed.
