Goa, Nov. 23 -- Mapusa Municipal Council meeting took a tumultuous turn as the Chairperson, Priya Mishal, and Councillor Shashank Narvekar engaged in a heated argument, resulting in the Chairperson asking the councillor to leave.

The exchange escalated to a point where Mishal instructed Narvekar to exit the meeting, leading to further tensions. Narvekar, in response, highlighted what he deemed unparliamentary language from the presiding officer. The councillor questioned the delay in advertising lapsed posts, emphasizing that the office belongs to the people of Mapusa.
