Goa, May 22 -- A tempo got stuck in a trench near Dando, Sanguem today, drawing public ire over the hazardous condition of road work sites following underground cable installations.
The trench, reportedly left improperly packed and unbarricaded, was part of ongoing infrastructure work in the area. Local residents say this is not an isolated incident-multiple vehicles have suffered similar fates over the past few days due to unfinished and poorly restored road sections.
"In many cases, drivers are forced to arrange and pay for towing services themselves," said one resident, calling the situation both unfair and unsafe.
