Goa, Nov. 4 -- A devastating road accident on the Hyderabad-Bijapur Highway on Monday morning has claimed 19 lives, leaving several families shattered and an entire community in mourning. Among the victims are three sisters from Tandur - Tanusha, Sai Priya, and Nandini - all college students from Hyderabad, and daughters of driver Yellaiah Goud.

The Goud family had recently celebrated the wedding of their eldest daughter, Anusha. Over the weekend, the three younger sisters had travelled home to attend another family wedding in Tandur. Their return journey on Monday morning, however, ended in tragedy.
