Goa, Nov. 5 -- Private professional colleges across Telangana have launched an indefinite strike from Monday, forcing the closure of nearly 1,500 institutions, including engineering, pharmacy, MBA, and degree colleges. The shutdown has disrupted academic schedules and left thousands of students without classes, prompting widespread appeals to postpone upcoming university examinations.

The protest, spearheaded by the Federation of Associations of Telangana Higher Institutions (FATHI), is aimed at pressuring the state government to immediately release long-pending fee reimbursement and scholarship dues.
