HYDERABAD, March 20 -- With an emphasis on bolstering government institutions throughout the state, the education department has been given Rs 23,108 crore by the state government. Higher education funding has been raised by Rs 77 crore, from Rs 787.63 crore to Rs 865.37 crore, for state universities Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda), Satavahana University (Karimnagar), and Palamuru University (Mahbubnagar).
