Goa, March 18 -- Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to request a meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss two bills recently approved by the state assembly, which aim to establish a 42% reservation for backward classes in education, employment, and local governance.

The Telangana Chief Minister's Office noted, "The chief minister is seeking an appointment with the Prime Minister following the passage of these two bills by the Legislative Assembly concerning the implementation of 42 percent reservation for backward classes in various sectors."
