Goa, Jan. 25 -- The Rashtriya Janata Dal has a new face leading its charge in Bihar politics. Tejashwi Yadav, former deputy chief minister and scion of the Yadav family, has been appointed the party's national working president by Lalu Prasad Yadav. The announcement came during the inaugural session of RJD's national executive meeting, attended by Lalu and Rabri Devi. Tejashwi, the youngest son of the former chief minister couple, received his appointment letter from his father in the presence of senior party leaders. Following his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav's exit last year, Tejashwi now carries forward the family's political legacy, positioning him as the de facto leader of RJD.
