Goa, Nov. 21 -- An Indian Air Force Tejas fighter jet crashed in the UAE on Friday during a flying display at the Dubai Airshow 2025, killing the pilot. The IAF confirmed the incident on X, saying details are being verified. The aircraft went down at around 2:10 pm local time at Al Maktoum International Airport, erupting into a fireball on impact. Videos showed the jet descending sharply with no visible ejection. The crash occurred in full view of spectators as emergency teams rushed to the spot. This is only the second Tejas crash since it entered service. A court of inquiry has been ordered.
