PANJIM, Dec. 21 -- Young Stars of Maula defeated Mashem Cricket Club by 89 runs in the 44th Nanda Lolayekar Trophy organised by Mashem Cricket Club at Nirakar Maidan Dapot, Canacona, recently.Young Stars of Maula won the toss and elected to bat first scoring 273/10 in 34.2 overs. Atharva Kumar 58 (44), Suraj Gond 46 (26) and Yash Gadekar 46 (43) were the top scorers. Aman Komarpant 4/50, Ravish Satarkar 3/29, Kaushal Dessai 1/38, Ajinkya Dessai 1/53. In reply, Mashem Cricket Club managed to score 184/10 in 33.4 overs.
