Goa, Oct. 9 -- Taylor Swift's newest release, 'The Life of a Showgirl', has already claimed the title of the UK's biggest opening week of 2025, moving 304,000 copies as of Friday. In the U.S., the album shattered the record for the most vinyl sales in a single week. Its 12 tracks also racked up over 300 million on-demand official streams in just the first two days (Oct. 3-4). Swift still holds the record for the biggest streaming week, set by 'The Tortured Poets Department' in 2024, which earned 891.37 million streams across the 31 tracks on its deluxe edition. Showgirl's first-week sales have outpaced those of her previous two studio albums, 2024's 'The Tortured Poets Department' (270,000 copies) and 2022's 'Midnights' (204,000 copies)....
