Goa, Jan. 7 -- Taxi drivers operating at the Manohar International Airport in Mopa have strongly opposed new rules introduced by GMR, which impose a Rs.200 fee on vehicles that remain in the pickup zone for more than 2-5 minutes. Drivers say the time limit is too short to locate passengers, coordinate pickup arrangements and load luggage, resulting in confusion and financial loss.
They also warned that the rule could cause inconvenience to tourists, especially families and elderly travellers who require more time during pickup.
