Goa, Nov. 18 -- Exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has sharply criticised the International Crimes Tribunal's verdict sentencing former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to death, questioning why chief advisor Muhammad Yunus and his "jihadist forces" were not being held accountable for similar actions.
Nasreen, writing from India where she has lived in exile since 1994, accused Yunus's interim government of shielding those who "ordered to shoot protesters", even as Hasina was declared guilty of crimes against humanity linked to last year's student uprising.
