Goa, Sept. 13 -- The Taleigao waste management facility has emerged as a model for sustainable practices by effectively segregating, remediating, and reusing waste.
According to officials, the facility ensures that segregated waste is converted into compost and industrial fuel, creating a dual benefit. While compost supports local farmers and gardeners, the processed fuel is supplied to industries as an eco-friendly alternative to conventional energy sources.
The initiative not only reduces landfill dependency but also promotes a circular economy, ensuring that waste is transformed into valuable resources for the community and businesses alike.
