Goa, Nov. 6 -- The Supreme Court has put on hold the three-year jail term handed to Zenito Cardoso by the High Court in connection with the Siridao culpable homicide case. Cardoso, who had been convicted earlier, was represented before the apex court by Senior Counsels Mukul Rohatgi and Atmaram Nadkarni, along with Advocate Michael Nazareth. The suspension of his sentence has come as a temporary relief while the case undergoes further legal scrutiny and proceedings before the Supreme Court.
