Goa, Dec. 4 -- A Supreme Court-appointed committee will inspect the disputed structure in Old Goa to determine whether the original building was merely a small store hut or if the bungalow now standing there was constructed in violation of heritage norms. The building has long been at the centre of protests and condemnation from social activists who argue that it compromises the UNESCO world heritage area. The committee, headed by a District Court judge, will study the structure's history and legality before submitting its findings.
