Goa, May 13 -- Goa recorded a strong 10.5% year-on-year growth in tourist arrivals during the first quarter of 2025, welcoming around 28.5 lakh visitors compared to 25.8 lakh in the same period last year. The rise has been attributed to a series of strategic efforts by the Goa Tourism Department, including enhanced international air connectivity-such as new direct flights from Kuwait and Abu Dhabi, along with focused global marketing campaigns and a push to promote tourism beyond the beaches.
