Goa, June 10 -- Siddiqui alias Suleman Khan has filed a petition before the High Court seeking the quashing of multiple FIRs and chargesheets linked to alleged land grab cases in Mapusa and Valpoi. In his plea, Suleman has requested that the court either direct Revenue Courts to examine the allegations or transfer the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a fair and impartial probe.

The petition, which raises questions over the legitimacy and conduct of the current investigation, is expected to come up for hearing next week.
