Goa, Nov. 22 -- Students from Government High School Merces and Government High School Kirlawada visited Toyyar Lake in Chimbel as part of the Vigyan Sahal initiative. The students explored the lake ecosystem, studying aquatic organisms and learning how ecological balance is maintained. They also identified medicinal plants in the surrounding area, gaining hands-on exposure to local biodiversity. The activity aimed to build environmental awareness and encourage experiential scientific learning. The programme was coordinated by Kanupriya Naik, Ramdas Varak, Girish Narvekar and Darshan Gauns.
