PANJIM, Feb. 20 -- The Goa Cabinet on Wednesday decided to ban Rottweiler and pit buldog breeds. This is in the wake of a few incidents in the recent past where people had been attacked by such dogs. My question to the government is by banning these breeds what will you get? If you feel like putting bans, ban corruption. Ban the conversion of fields. If you feel like banning, ban the grabbing of forest land in the name of eco-tourism, where you are disturbing the life of animals. There is no benefit in banning dog breeds.
