Goa, Oct. 31 -- The Department of BBA (Travel & Tourism) of St Xavier's College, Mapusa, successfully hosted its two-day national-level event 'X'plorateur 2025', marking World Tourism Day.
Guided by the UNWTO theme "Tourism and Sustainable Transformation" and rooted in the vision "A Regenerative Vision for Goa," the event encouraged students to innovate in tourism while sustaining and restoring Goa's unique culture and environment.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by college dignitaries and Chief Guest Pifran Fernandes, Owner of Tree House Goa. Highlights of the inaugural programme included cultural performances, a magazine launch, and motivational addresses on the importance of regenerative tourism.
