MAPUSA: St Anthony's SC, Marna-Siolim, had to wait for the penalty shoot-out before they got the better of their neighbours Xetrapal SC, Oxel, by 5-4 margin to clinch the glittering Peddem Bomm Cup organised by Peddem Bomm SC at the Peddem ground, Anjuna.
Xetrapal SC did have better ball possession and strikes at the rival goal but St Anthony's SC goalkeeper Prajyot Naik time and again came to his team's rescue.
In the last quarter of the first session, Prajyot Phadte brought excellent saves to block Sonu Mandrekar's brace and Kanya Govekar strikes.
On crossing ends, once again goalkeeper Prajyot Phadte blocked Sonu's strike from a close.
Anthony's SC almost had the last laugh but May...
