Goa, Nov. 3 -- In a tragic incident late Saturday night, an ambulance - a vehicle meant to save lives - turned fatal when it lost control and rammed into multiple motorcycles waiting at a red signal near Richmond Circle, killing a couple on the spot.

The accident occurred around 11:00 pm, when several riders had stopped at the signal. According to police, the speeding ambulance ploughed into the motorcycles from behind, colliding with at least three two-wheelers before coming to a halt after striking a nearby police outpost.
