Goa, April 29 -- The State Police Complaints Authority (SPCA) has taken action against two Goa police officers for their failure to register a First Information Report (FIR) in a harassment case filed by a woman against her in-laws. The complaint, which involved allegations of abuse, harassment, and assault, dates back to 2015.
After reviewing the case, the SPCA recommended a 'reduction in the time scale of pay by one stage' for the officers involved-Police Inspector (PI) Sinari and Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Dhiraj Devidas. Both officers were stationed at the Old Goa police station at the time the complaint was filed.
