Goa, Dec. 18 -- To maintain law and order during the festive season, South Goa Police will enforce heightened security ahead of Christmas and New Year. South Goa SP Tikam Singh (IPS) confirmed that heavy police bandobust will be in place, with maximum patrolling and nakabandis across the district. Around 10 IRB battalions will assist the South Goa Police, particularly in crowded areas. Special focus will be on markets, tourist zones, bus stands, and railway stations, as these locations are likely to see a significant rise in public movement during the celebrations.
