Goa, April 3 -- South Goa Member of Parliament (INC), Captain Viriato Fernandes, has raised concerns regarding the proposed reopening of schools during the peak summer months of April and May. The MP took the issue to the Honorable Education Minister in Delhi, submitting a detailed five-page memorandum that outlines the reasons why schools in Goa should not reopen during this time.
In his memorandum, Fernandes highlighted the severe challenges posed by the extreme heat during these months, particularly in the state of Goa, where temperatures soar to uncomfortable levels.
