Goa, Jan. 5 -- Team Herald [emailprotected] PANJIM: Goa suffered a seven-wicket defeat at the hands of Uttarakhand in a Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite Group match played at the K L Saini Stadium, Jaipur, on Saturday. Despite a fighting total of 270, Goa were unable to defend the target as Uttarakhand chased it down comfortably in 46.2 overs, losing just three wickets. Put in to bat after losing the toss, Goa were bowled out for 270 in 49.1 overs. Opener Snehal Kauthankar was the standout performer for Goa, scoring a splendid 105 off 114 balls, which included 13 fours and a six.
