Goa, May 23 -- A portion of the slab from the old Bank of Baroda building near Gandhi Market in Margao, South Goa, collapsed on Friday morning, damaging three cars parked below. The incident occurred at the Bank of Baroda branch located near the busy Gandhi Market complex.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the collapse has raised serious concerns about the structural integrity of aging buildings in the area. Eyewitnesses reported a loud crash, followed by the discovery of shattered concrete and crushed vehicle roofs beneath the fallen debris.
