Goa, Jan. 10 -- Six people, including the pilot and co-pilot, were injured after a nine-seater private aircraft crash-landed near Rourkela in Odisha on Saturday afternoon. Officials said the IndiaOne Airlines aircraft developed a technical snag shortly after take-off, forcing an emergency landing in farmland near Katibandha Kansara around 1.30 pm.

The aircraft, a single-engine Caravan 208 bearing registration VT-KSS, was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela with two pilots and four passengers onboard. It had departed at 12.27 pm. According to the Odisha government, the pilots ensured a safe landing, which helped save lives.
