Goa, Sept. 1 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala multiple murders, rapes, and burials case has recovered crucial evidence while escorting the complainant to Bengaluru, officials confirmed on Sunday.

C N Chinnaiah, who is currently in custody, was brought from Belthangady in Dakshina Kannada district on Saturday. As part of the investigation, the SIT conducted mahazar proceedings (spot inspections) at multiple locations linked to the case across Bengaluru.
