Goa, Oct. 11 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating land grab cases has arrested Sameer Satardekar, a resident of Socorro, for allegedly forging documents and fraudulently transferring ownership of land located at Survey No. 444/8, Anjuna.

The Mapusa JMFC Court has granted the police three days' custody of Satardekar to facilitate further investigation into the alleged illegal land transactions.

Authorities are probing the case to uncover the full extent of the fraud and identify any other parties involved in the unlawful acquisition of the property.
